DNQ's is a different question):

Johnny Patterson ('52 Hudson)
Elbert Allen ('53 Olds 88)
Dick Garlington ('53 Olds 88)
Harvey Eakin (1950-1954 Nash Ambassador)
Dick Grice ('54 Lincoln)

Sosebee & Grice did however run at Asheville-Weaverville the day after.
It's possible that they skipped this race so they could be focused on
running there.
