According to ultimateracinghistory, Don Woodard and Robert Caswell
finished in the opposite order. Actually, Caswell finished third, but
was disqualified for having a 'ground camshaft'.

Unusual to see a '51 Chevy entered - Oldsmobile was usually the
preferred GM make for NASCAR racing up until the introduction of the V8
engine for Chevrolet for the '55 model.

Note: Robert Caswell #84 = disqualified (originaly flagged in 3rd
position but was disqualified for illegal camshaft)
Note: Don Woodard #61 did not start for a reason unknow.
Note: Marian Pagan was relieved in the #52 car by Eddie Pagan in the
57th lap.
Note: due to an incomplete data, the Lap Leaders can not appear on the
website but here what we have : ..., Marvin Panch 244-249, Danny Letner
250-280, Marvin Panch 281-287, Danny Letner 288-290, Marvin Panch 291,
Danny Letner 292-297.

isnt there a number missing for how many laps Caswell completed it
should be 297 or 296?

Note: update with all starting position and status. Number of laps of
Bob Caswell = 297.

A few years ago, I posted that Herschel McGriff would have won the 1954
championship in the elimination playoff format...That was under 2014-15
scoring format that used 43 cars
Using the 2016 point system with a 40 car field, McGriff would have been
the first driver out by a 31 point margin
