The great Dick Ratmann's final NASCAR start. Looks like he went out on
top: he qualified 4th, led 68 laps and was out front on lap 80 when he
dropped a piston.

Lee Petty makes a rare appearance for anyone other than Petty Enterprises.

Also the first start for Mario Rossi, who could be the same Mario Rossi
who owned cars for Bobby Allison in the late 60's/early 70's.

Dave Terrell has what was probably his best race, but he drops out with
a radiator failure after 15 laps.

Carl Kiekhaefer as car owner for Buck Baker is probably an error. A
Buick with #89 is almost certainly Baker's own car.
