The streak was broken at LeHi, Arkansas one week later when Ralph Moody claimed victory in a car fielded by former Indy 500 champion Pete DePaolo. Oh yeah, and Herb Thomas also won his last pole in this race. 3. RaceFanX posted: 01.07.2008 - 7:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Hat trick! It was his last win, but it was the third win in a row for Thomas. Also, it's a career best 2nd place for Harold Hardesty of Pasco, WA. It was only Hardesty's 3rd career start 4. When the fans started to turn agasinst him for winning too much, he bowed out. He was only in it for the boat motor exposure. 6. thog posted: 07.30.2020 - 8:22 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) Lucky Long wasn't very lucky in his Cup debut, rolling his car after an axle snapped. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
