Good day for Hugh Babb. All three cars he owned finished on the podium.

Despite finishing 16th, Marvin Panch led this race with a 488 point lead
in the season standings. Jim Paschal was second in the point standings
and he retired about 10 laps later, so Panch still had a nice lead. The
lead wouldn't last though.
