Hometown hero Art Watts takes the checkered flag to win at Portland.
This was the late Mr. Watts' only Cup series victory. The Oregon racer
made 19 starts between 1954 and 1963 with the vast majority like this
one being on the West Coast.

Jack D. McCoy's fifth was his only Cup top-5 finish. This was only his
second start in the series.
