He raced the previous week in a NASCAR Convertible race at Columbia SC in a 1957 Oldsmobile that Lee gave him. 6. It must have been pretty cool to see the stars of NASCAR battle it out on a 1/3 mile oval in the heart of Toronto. I guess I was born 35 years too late. Interestingly the Toronto Indy Street Circuit also uses the Exhibition Place grounds. 9.
