Now that John Dodd Sr.'s birthdate is known, we can say with reasonable
certainty that he holds the record for oldest driver with a top ten
finish in Cup.

Did you notice who contributed this birth date?
Do you consider that the contributor gives no evidence that the life
dates actually refer to the racing driver?

Historical records indicate that there is only ONE John Dodd from Glen
Burnie, MD, and that John Dodd also had a son named John Dodd.
