Thanks to stockcar-world.com for the qualifying results!

Qualifying determined only the top 2 starters for this race, the other
positions were set via two 25-lap qualifying races.

Cotton Owens wrecked his #6 car during a qualifying race and purchased
Roy Tyner's #9 for the main race.

According to newspaper articles, and photos.. Johnson win here at
Nashville came in the Convertible series - not a hard top. The site here
doesn't show him running any races in Nashville in a convertible, and a
little research shows a picture with him in victory lane and the checked
flag at Nashville. Just something worth looking into.

The lap leader summary on the bottom of the page has Junior Johnson
leading laps 218-300. Should be Joe Lee Johnson.

Correction to what I posted ^^ That's a WD. Cotton had the No. 6 entered
for himself before moving to the No. 9.
