California's own West Coast champion NASCAR Marvin Porter fittingly takes the victory, his second and final one in a Grand National race. This was the Cup series' first race west of the Mississippi River on a paved superspeedway. This track later changed its name to Hanford Motor Speedway and hosted USAC Champ Car races. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
