Second straight win for Speedy Thompson, but he would never win again in
his career.

This was the second and final win for Thompson while driving the Wood
Brothers' #21 Ford, following that win a week earlier at Charlotte.
While these were the team's fourth and fifth wins overall Thompson's
triumphs marked the first and second wins for the team while using its
iconic #21. He won both of his first two starts with the team.

This is also the only time the Woods won on a dirt track.
