Only NASCAR race for Crash Bond who thankfully does not live up to what
one can only hope is a colorful nickname. Bond placed a respectable 13th.

Richard Petty had the car to beat until motor problems beat him and
allowed Jim Paschal to take the checkers

This race was in the days of the high banked Nashville track.

Most of that total was in one huge chunk, laps 221 to 350 were under
caution for rain.

I couldn't imagine being under caution for 130 straight laps. At some
point, people would've just quited because it's literally nothing but
running about 45 mph for 1.5 hours.
