I was reading Greg Fielden's book that included 1962 today. This was the
first short track race that ever had six drivers finish on the lead lap
according to the book. I think it must be true. I always look through
these races to see how many finished on the lead lap and stuff like that.

Very close finish. 60 YARDS! I say 2nd closest finish in nascar.

A Chevy wins & a Chrysler gets 2nd. best finish for a chrysler.

dude, what are you talking about? there have probably been a thousand
races won by less than 60 yards. also chrysler won a ton of races in the
mid-fifties.
