This race has the distinction for being the smallest purse in Nascar
history: a measly $2,165.

A hot dog and a soft drink almost costs more at the track than this race
paid for last...

This is one of the only races that was declared official early due to
weather despite not reaching the halfway mark. Although, NASCAR paid out
only half the prize money and half the championship points due to the
circumstances.

Pole Speed: 69.151 MPH

Weatherly ran a qualifying lap of 26.03 seconds which equates to 69.151 MPH.
