First of 2 wins for Cliff Stewart's team. The other win came nearly 20
years later with Morgan Shepherd.

the way the race played out, it would seem that paschal made his
mandatory gas stop during the only caution while others waited for a
caution that never came. i would be interested to hear if this was the
case from someone who was there.

Each of the top 5 finishers in this race were separated by exactly 1
lap. None of them finished on the same lap, but there were no gaps
larger than 1 lap, either.
