Crider and Morton are both shown as qualifying 32nd. No one is shown at
23rd.

This looks to be uncorrectable unless someone can dredge up the
qualifying results, because NASCAR's official race report contains this
error too.

I don't see how it will be corrected either, unless someone has it in
writing somewhere. If I had to guess, I'd say Crider probably qualified
23rd (he was the better qualifier of the two), but obviously that's not
enough to go off to officially change it.

Photos from the publication Racing Pictorial show that Lee Roy Yarbrough
was driving a 1963 Mercury.
