Fred Lorenzen went on the win the race. John Holman fired Herb Nab for not pitting, only to be rehired 2 days later by Ralph Moody (John Holman's business partner). 4. simonracer posted: 01.02.2016 - 12:27 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Withdrew: #20 Jack Anderson (1964 Ford) 5. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 02.23.2016 - 11:33 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Note: Driver Standings after this race (top20): 1) Marvin Panch = 16578 points 2) Ned Jarrett = 14642 3) Richard Petty = 14602 4) Billy Wade = 13980 5) Junior Johnson = 11414 6) Jimmy Pardue = 11190 7) David Pearson = 10536 8) Tiny Lund = 10342 9) Fireball Roberts = 9724 10) Jim Paschal = 9476 11) Fred Lorenzen = 8634 12) Curtis Crider = 8174 13) Larry Thomas = 8012 14) Dave MacDonald = 7650 15) Buck Baker = 7620 16) Darel Dieringer = 7168 17) Paul Goldsmith = 6976 18) Cale Yarborough = 6658 19) Bobby Isaac = 5386 20) Larry Frank = 5256 6. Seriously doubt that Foyt and Hurtubise were ever going to be at Darlington in May. 8. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 05.26.2017 - 4:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) And yes on the official NASCAR owner standings, the owner of the #87 Buck Baker in 1964 = J.C. Parker. 9. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 05.26.2017 - 4:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Right, the "probable" entry list available on some of the Old race program are often simply the early year entries (including the Big D500 lineup). It's absolutely not a Real preliminary or entry list ! Race program are often printing some weeks before the event. Please stop sending this Kindle of erroneous informations. 10. The race didn't last much longer than the round trip ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
