By far the best race I have ever seen. Tom Pistone's driving held
Pearson at bay until Tom's engine blew. The rest was a cake walk for
David Pearson.

This race took place a day after the infamous 1966 Topeka F5 Tornado
that tore through Topeka, KS which left over $200 million dollars in
damage and killed 17 people.
