Ironic they chose this event, where Petty was driving a 1964 Plymouth with a totally different body style(the 1966 Belvedere would only have minor cosmetic differences from the 1967). 10. MSportRev posted: 12.20.2019 - 8:46 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) @13 It's possible. T.L. Blakely and Terry Blakely have separate pages on The Third Turn. Both are from different towns in Michigan. Terry was a regular in ARCA and USAC Stock Cars. T.L. Only attempted Daytona in Cup. 15. ScottB posted: 12.20.2019 - 1:00 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Ultimate Racing history has "Terry" Blakely listed as attempting the 1966 Daytona races in Cup, and no page for "T.L." I think that is likely correct. The number "50" seems to be associated with Terry Blakely in 1966, even across different owners and sanctioning bodies. Circumstantial evidence, but that and the lack of any history outside of Daytona for "T.L." makes me believe they are one and the same. 16.
