Bobby wins his second career race in a car that was "shortened 41
inches" in a wreck two days prior.

James Hylton led late, but ran out of gas and had to pit, giving Bobby
Allison the lead. He got a half-gallon of gas, but the damage had been done.

Allison crashed his car 18 hour earlier in Fonda, NY. James Hylton
actually helped him get the car prepared.

Tom Pistone led early but his breaks overheated and actually set his car
on fire.

This was the fourth Cup/Grand National race in 7 days in the 1966 season.

I think this is the race where James Hylton lent Bobby Allison his
(larger) fuel tank prior to the race. That generosity ended up costing
him the win.
