Larry Hess makes his first start of the season driving a Rambler, the
only entry for any driver in 1967 at the wheel of one of the
AMC-produced luxury cars. His #44 lasted less than three miles before a
mechanical problem sent it to the sidelines.

*Rambler wasn't a luxury car. It was however still produced by AMC.
