This race featured a very unusual (for the time) race car. The late Al
Tasnady, a very popular and talented New Jersey short track driver was
in the # 88 Oldsmobile Toronado, a front wheel drive car in an era when
everything was rear wheel driven. The car was owned by Buck Baker.
