He will joint the 338 th combat supply group as an administrative supervisor. The 338 th is the Air Force group which has been carrying out devastating air strikes deep into North Vietnam. In a interview Mayne said: I will be back in Grand National racing as soon as I can. I hope to come back with a new car in 1969. 13.
