Note that this race, despite being part of the 1969 season, took place
in November 1968.

The final time that NASCAR followed the old tradition of starting the
season in November. ARCA would continue to start its seasons in either
November or October until 1986.

Due to this, this race was Richard Petty's only win in a Plymouth during
the 1969 season, since he switched to Fords in the year 1969.
