i was at this race, my father was the announcer at savannah speedway for
years. 20 DEGREES BANKING,120 FEET SHORT OF A TRUE HALF MILE , IT WILL
ALWAYS BE SOME OF THE GREATEST RACING EVER VIEWED BY A FAN .THE STORIES
ABOUT THE OLD SAVANNAH SPEEDWAY WILL LIVE FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if Bobby Allison's car was sponsored by Star City Body as it
was entered by Don Robertson as opposed to Mario Rossi. At Bristol two
races later he was running under Star City like most of the Don
Robertson team. I don't know if sponsors followed the driver or the team
itself, so I could be wrong.
