Can you imagine how much howling there would be about that today? 8. Rob posted: 03.07.2017 - 8:31 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I'm almost positive that Cale drove a 69 Mercury. 9. He'd later run a few races in the Grand National East series in 1973. 10. Robertson rented his second car to whomever needed a ride and had the money. The car was also rented to James Hylton (Daytona), Wendell Scott (after his Ford Torino was totaled), and Richard Petty for the dirt track race at Raleigh (Sept.30, 1970). For Bristol, the sponsor was "Star City Body Shop", the standard sponsor for that team. The odd streak would end about a month and a half later when Donnie won the World 600 after Bobby fell out of that race early on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
