It was also Tom Usry's first race in a long time after a horrific crash
in the ARCA 200.

Well this one was pure Mopar Magic. The King laps the field in his
Roadrunner as he leads home 1-2-3-4-5 finish for Plymouths and the
Dodges in front of James Hylton, Elmo Langley, and Wendell Scott's
FoMoCo entries. The Chrysler calvary led every lap between Petty,
polesitter Bobby Isaac, and runner-up Bobby Allison.
