I watched this one on Car & Track. The only car in the same league with
Foyt was Freddie Lorenzen until Lorenzen's engine blew and he crashed on
the front straight with a fire. At the end, Petty had a chance to win,
but he missed his pit, similar to Junior at the 500, but under the green
flag and had to come back in and finished third. Foyt won the first two
Ontario races.

Foyt #41 sponsors were Teleprompter Cable TV / Foulger Ford / Purolator

Langley #64 sponsor was Woodfield Ford

Bown #2 sponsor was Ober Logging


Bown car was his regular #02 with the 0 edited out.

McGriff #41 was a #04 with the 0 edited out, the 1 was added on the
doors only.

Bobby Allison's car was a 1971 Dodge Charger, not a 1970. There are a
number of photos from this race where this is clear.

The only Cup race with a driver from Utah entered. Art Pollard was a DNQ
and the sole Utahan to enter a national level NASCAR race until Michael
Self's Xfinity starts 44 years later.

It's not Indy, but it must have been cool for the guys of this era to
race on an indy clone for the first time
