Last Cup race ever at South Boston. The track would however become a
staple on the Busch series from 1982 to 2000 and would host the Truck
series from 2001 to 2003 before sadly being left off the schedule

Maiden win for Benny Parsons, who in the end would finish 11th in 71
standings, but also end the season as the third best driver to have won
a race that season.
