Nice run for Buddy Baker running a one-off in Neil Castles #06 and
putting up a pretty good fight against his regular boss Richard Petty
for the win

This was the first NASCAR race I was ever at. It was great to see
Richard Petty win because I was a big fan. This was the one and only
pole for Friday Hassler who was killed at Daytona 1972. It was the only
top ten for Bill Chevalier in his career also.

Jim Hurtubise was entered in this race in a #56 1970 Chevrolet, but
failed to make the grid after his car spun backwards into and over the
guardrail at the first turn.
