Bobby Allison drove a 1971 "split grille" Dodge Charger,probably the
same one he won Riverside and Houston in,not a 1970 as listed
here.Photos and videos on the net confirm this.Stories have said that
this was the car Bobby sold to Marty Robbins and borrowed back to race
in the races that Holman&Moody didn't enter.The car was painted in Marty
Robbins colors.

Earl Brooks ran the race of his life. He ran with the lead pack early,
but experienced tire problems as the race progressed.

To add to @5, Bill Hollar also finished 10th in Brooks's second entry,
giving Brooks two cars in the top 10 for the first and only time in his
career as an owner.

Brooks' team only had top 10s in 12% of its races, but 11% of their
total top 10s came in this race.
