Richard Petty's eleventh consecutive race in which he finished either
first or second.

Points lead before the streak started: 287 over Dave Marcis
Points lead after this race: 862 over Dave Marcis

Henceforth, this streak will be known as the Richard Petty Modern Era

Or the this race was bought for petty 400... i have some interesting
news if anyone wants to hear it..but not everyone will know its real.
