Using the same car he wrecked at Richmond a week earlier, Cale
Yarborough wins the race rather easily. Bennie Parsons took the point
lead by taking third. Previous point leader Richard Petty crashed and
lost it.

Travis Tiller caused four caution flags himself with four spins - "I was
real careful when I passed the 46 car," Yarborough later said.

Wasn't this race shortned to 400 miles due to the gas crisis?

No. The races in 1974 were shortened fifty miles because of the gas crisis.
