McDuffie's top-5 was his only one of the season.

As mentioned in post 4, this race was run three days after the American
railroad Conrail, formed by the merger of several other East Coast
railroads that had suffered financial woes, began operations. It
operated through 1999 before its assets were split up between CSX and
Norfolk Southern.
