The support race this week was a Baby Grand (Dash) series race won by
Dean Combs followed by Larry Hoopaugh and George Thompkins.

Cale Yarborough picks up his second-straight Dover victory, taming the
Monster Mile for the third and final time in his Cup career.

For Morgan Shepherd this race marked his return to the Cup series for
the first time since late 1970. His breakthrough top-10 here came in
just his fourth career Cup start.
