Note: top6 finishers was using Goodyear tires. James Hylton was using
McCreary tires. Hylton who ran in the top3 for 480 laps but the engine
goes down on the last laps...

The NASCAR Modified Div ran the Azalea 150 the day prior to this race,
the winner was Richie Evans followed by Satch Worley, George Kent, Paul
Radford and Johnny Bryant. Jerry Cook was 8th, Jimmy Spencer 18th, and
Geoff Bodine was 25th.

Buddy Baker drove a Caprice in this race and had one of the best runs
ever for that particular version of Chevrolet.
