This was the first of 1073 consecutive races with a Dale Earnhardt in
it. That streak would end with Junior's concussion, unfortunately.

Lennie Pond drove the 2nd half of this race in relief for Dale Earnhardt.

The NASCAR Late Model Sportsman Div ran the Harvest 150 the day before
this race, the winner was Ray Hendrick, followed by Butch Lindley, Sam
Ard, Morgan Shepherd and Bob Pressley.
