Ulrich in the Top 10 in Winston Cup points. 2. bigjohnson posted: 08.23.2009 - 2:03 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Petty cuts his points deficit down to 83 as he saws 104 points off in just one race. Corey posted: 04.08.2018 - 10:40 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) @5 Due to having a horse track, Dover doesn't have a tunnel that goes under the track. The entrance to the infield is located along the frontstretch. If anyone on track or in the infield needs to go to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, they have to stop the race to let the ambulance go. It is still that way today. I don't know why the ambulance needed to leave the track on these particular cautions though. 7. Starting near the back in his lone Cup start his #13 Chevrolet ended up being taken out in the big one on Lap 2. Halverson would run a Busch race at Hickory a few years later and attempt at least one more Cup race but ultimately never qualified for one again after this. 9. The winning team was the crew from MRN Radio but pit reporter Mike Joy noted their time ended up being about 40 seconds. For comparison a two-tire stop with a professional pit crew in this era was about 15 seconds. With his normal pit crew back in place Childress brought the CRC car home with a top-15 in the CRC race. 10. rateus posted: 02.13.2021 - 2:46 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Starting line-up indicates 2 sibling swaps between qualifying and the race - Joey Arrington qualified for Buddy and Steve Peles qualified for Nestor. 11.
