What is the reason for showing Hamby, who was the car owner? 2. Anonymous posted: 01.23.2007 - 9:12 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Rare short track victory for Buddy Baker. 3. Once the DiGard team starting losing ground they pushed the issue too much with their engines. Bill Gardner told Darrell he would never spend so much money trying to win a championship again. Gardner won the 1983 championship with Bobby Allison. 7. KW posted: 03.14.2018 - 10:39 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The Autumn 150 was scheduled to run the day before this race. For the 1st time it was a Sportsman Race instead of the traditional modified race. Rain ended up postponing the race 1 week. The eventual winner was Sam Ard, Tommy Houston was 2nd followed by J.E. Beard, Sonny Hutchins and Ray Hendrick. Jimmy Hensley was 7th, Morgan Shepherd 17th, Jack Ingram 18th, Tommy Ellis 19, Butch Lindley 23rd, Bob Pressley 24th, and eventual champion Gene Glover was 27th. 8.
