Top 10 finishes at both MIS races in 1980 for Bill Elliott. You could
already start to tell this early in his career that this track and Bill
were made for each other.

Waltrip blew 2 engines during qualifying and made a last minute deal
with Chuck Bown and owner Joel Halpern to let him drive the 02 car.
