He got to the inside of Benny, and he was passing him while running sideways. Benny thought to himself, "This guy's crazy! I'll just sit back here and wait 'til he crashes." But Dale continued to drive away from him sliding through the turns like he was on dirt. If it was this race, driving that way was the right way. 2. In fact, Buicks were somewhat common in superspeedway races in '78-80 for GM teams, before becoming the dominant make of Nascar in '81 & '82. 9. 18fan posted: 06.08.2011 - 12:16 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Doug Richert's next win as a crew chief after this race was when Greg Biffle won at Michigan in August of 2004. 10. rob posted: 10.10.2012 - 11:35 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) this race will debut in the MRN classic races vault this friday at noon. 11. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 08.08.2016 - 12:12 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Caution 1: Lap 7-9: #15,22 spun turn 4 Caution 2: Lap 34-37: #05,4,62 accident turn 4 Caution 3: Lap 143-147: #14 accident turn 4 Caution 4: Lap 149-152: #47 accident turn 2 Caution 5: Lap 171-174: #27,68,88 accident turn 2 Caution 6: Lap 177-180: #6 lost wheel Caution 7: Lap 185-192: #02,9,15,21,43,44 accident turn 4 Caution 8: Lap 211-223: rain 12. sa posted: 08.08.2016 - 12:37 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Correction Caution 3 was from lap 143-146 13.
