Last race for Ed Negre's race team, here fielding Buddy Arrington's #67. Arrington brought the car home with a strong 9th. 3. awesomegordonfan posted: 08.12.2011 - 7:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) One of Richard Childress's last races as an owner/driver 4. james-0-matic posted: 01.05.2014 - 11:48 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) mike potter's best finish, 15th 5. Apparently one car flipped onto its roof, but the writer of the article didn't mention who it was. Ronnie Thomas was originally going to race his own #25, while Charlie Chamblee was entered in another unidentified car, but both of their cars were destroyed in the crash. Jimmy Means gave a backup car to Thomas and he allowed Chamblee to drive it in the race. The third entry that was unable to start was not named. 6. Ronnie Thomas - #25 - Pontiac - Ronnie Thomas Lake Speed - #66 - ? - Lake Speed Buddy Arrington - #67 - Dodge - Buddy Arrington DC (driver - number - manu. - owner): Harry Dinwiddie - #49 - Pontiac - Harry Dinwiddie (renumbered to #66 for L. Speed) ? - #82 - Dodge - Norman Negre (renumbered to #67 for B. Arrington) On the result sheet, #67's owner should be listed as Norman Negre and not Ed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
