Mark Martin leads his first laps in the Cup Series. Martin, just an ASA
Champ at the time, was just getting going running a couple of Sportman
races and winning his only ARCA start during the 1981 season in addition
to 2 poles in 5 starts in Cup.

Dave Marcis' car was apparently the first appearance of the downsized
Chrysler Cordoba that would occasionally compete from 1981 to 1985.

You are correct Matt I just found a photo of the car it is the non-LS
version of the Cordoba. The LS version had the more aerodynamic nose
almost identical to the Mirada.
