He previouosly used a Ford to win the Daytona 500 Consolation Race earlier in the year. 6. McDuffe was a slightly more on pace with only 24 laps fewer then the leader. 8. _Pale_Writer_ posted: 02.10.2018 - 6:38 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I am 99.9% sure that the car owner for Tim Richmond for this race and his DNQ at Daytona is incorrect. If I remember correctly, the No. 29 Ford was fielded by Fast Company, a team owned by a guy named Mike Lovern. Billie Harvey's team was known as Fast Lane LTD and fielded GM cars with the No. 31. 9. About 31 years after this one she would become the first female driver to run a full season in the Cup series. 10. Despite mechanical woes sending his Pontiac to the sidelines before halfway his 29th-place finish was still his best in Winston Cup action. 12. Since Tom Sneva had commitments already for the new race date, the deal was made between Mark and Bob Rogers. 13. The guy who owned the #29 Ford driven very early in 1982 by Tim Richmond was Mike Lovern and not Billie Harvey. I think the confusion comes in because of the similarity in the names of the teams (Harvey's Fast Lane versus Lovern's Fast Company). 15. rateus posted: 02.08.2021 - 5:00 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Dick Brooks and Lennie Pond also didn't return for the rescheduled date after qualifying on the original weekend - Brooks qualified P16 and Pond qualified P29. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
