Anderson. Their 2-year period together only brought 5 wins....below Cale's standards. Anderson was so upset to learn that Cale was gonna drive for Harry Ranier in 83', that he sold his team to Raymond Beatle following the 82' season. Anderson was quoted as saying, "If I can't have Cale drive for me, I don't want anyone driving for me." 3. This was the only time Bobby Wawak ever led a lap in a race. He led two 6. I remember the King's cars having donuts all down the side of it. 7. 18fan posted: 08.27.2009 - 2:15 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The only race in the 60 year history of Darlington with 40 lead changes. 8. After Neil Bonnett won the World 600 at Charlotte back in May in a Ford the Buicks won every race throughout the rest of the summer. 12. Years later Hurricane Hugo loosened that upper deck and it had to be removed. I remember that end of the race battle between Cale & Richard. Richard was slip sliding all over the track trying to get by Cale. It was epic. 14. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 01.12.2019 - 2:40 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Caution 1: Lap 16-23: #64 spun turn 1 Caution 2: Lap 36-38: #24 accident turn 3 Caution 3: Lap 58-62: #03,2 accident Caution 4: Lap 72-76: #13 engine Caution 5: Lap 99-104: #55 flat tire Caution 6: Lap 122-128: #44 accident turn 1 Caution 7: Lap 155-161: #99 spun Caution 8: Lap 169-173: #3 engine Caution 9: Lap 178-185: #2 engine Caution 10: Lap 205-211: #36 accident turn 2 Caution 11: Lap 227-231: #1,47,64,90 accident turn 1 Caution 12: Lap 282-289: Caution 13: Lap 299-306: Caution 14: Lap 345-349: debris 15.
