This is Rudd's first win, however, Terry Labonte had the lap 51 crash.
And three days later, Terry's wife Kim welcomed their last child, Kristen.

Both Ricky Rudd and Bill Elliott would get their first career wins in
1983, and both at Riverside. I wonder when this has happened before or
since when two drivers get their first career wins in the same year at
the same track?

Looking over at the video of that race, it appears Tim Richmond, Dave
Marcis and Rick McCray all drove Pontiac LeMans in this race. It's
interesting to see the LeMans being used outside of the superspeedways.

If Marcis had a LeMans here, I think he drove about every single car
used in Nascar from '81-'86 at some point.

What race was being used for the Undercover Dukes real-race footage? Was
it this one or the other road course race at Riverside?

The commentators for the race were Bill Hennesey and Loren St. Lawrence.
The pit road reporter was Pat Patterson.

I don't know if they used the actual audio, but I doubt it as they had
the PA guy saying Bo Duke's name floating anywhere from 1st to 6th
driving the 44. The show was using real footage and the episode had a
#44 car, provided by Billy Hagan with covered up Budweiser decals. It is
a cool episode and I was wondering what race was being used.

Driver Change - Bill Osborne qualified the #94 that Bob Kennedy drove in
the race.
