He would attempt a few more races but never again qualified. 2. Wayne posted: 03.26.2010 - 1:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Also the last Winston Cup start for French-Canadian driver Laurent Rioux. He only made three career starts in the series. 3. David posted: 10.10.2012 - 8:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) How about Dick Brooks leading 169 laps? Impressive... 4. b4il3y posted: 11.11.2012 - 8:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Brooks came scary close to winning a few races while he was with Junie. He ran a great Daytona in 83, and lead more than a few races. Brooks was a better driver than people gave him credit for. Who knows...if he was with Bud Moore or anyone that had a Tier 1 ride in the early 80's if he could've won a few races. 5. jp posted: 02.11.2014 - 9:24 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Dick Brooks dominates....... Mike Joy mentioned it being a Dodge in the starting lineup and I got a good look at it on the pace laps. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
