I was at this race. MIS was a Bill Elliott track and the crowd wildly
cheered his win.

Someone hasn't watched Michigan races in the 80's....some of the best
racing ever all around the track....

CBS broadcast this race. Ken Squier and Ned Jarrett were in the booth
with Chris Economaki and Mike Joy in the pits.

James Hylton in a Chevrolet is shown P36 on the starting line-up but
didn't make the race.
