As noted before this was the last race where any NASCAR Cup teams ran Chryslers and I highly doubt we'll ever see another one. 11. br7484 posted: 02.08.2018 - 8:15 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) With this race being the last start for a Chrysler it also marked the last time 6 different car makes started a Cup race. 12. oldgrandnational posted: 02.28.2018 - 10:08 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) KDA is correct. Bobby Allison was driving a Ford Thunderbird decaled as a Buick. Remember, this was shortly after Allison seperated from DiGard and had to put a team together quickly, as he had obligations to both Miller Brewing and Buick. The scoring problems KDA refers to are also correct. I was there that day. I do not know where Allison got the Ford. Anyone? 13. zuel660 posted: 07.09.2019 - 10:39 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) @12 could Allison's Ford have came from Petty Enterprises? They had a Ford for a few races in '85, but were dormant for most of the year. 14.
