Darrell Waltrip knew better than to race Earnhardt hard at the end of
this race. Looking at big picture.

Final Cup start for Brent Elliott (no relation to Bill). All three of
the Cup starts he made in his career were in 1985, two of which were at
Martinsville (the other was in the spring at North Wilkesboro).
